A 3 mile walk celebrating the life & poetry of John Nicholson (1790-1843), Bradford’s first famous poet, between 2 pubs he would have drunk in. Led by Bradford poet & stand up historian Glyn Watkins. Starts at The George, Cullingworth with a poem about beer. Then to Goit Stock Falls, where Nicholson wrote, & then The Malt Shovel, with more poems.
Only suitable for sensible, capable, walkers in sensible shoes.
