DESCRIPTION:Come to this fascinating talk by Jennie Kiff who will share Bradford’s significant role in the sufragette campaign. Bradford played a significant role in the women’s suffrage campaign\, but the stories of the local suffragettes have been forgotten. These have now been re-discovered. They provide a fascinating insight into local women’s activism in Bradford before and after World War One. Before the talk you are wlecome to browse the MI’s sufragette collection and a 12.30 join a short show (15 mins) showcasing the work of Florence White. \n  \nVenue is Bradford Mechanics Institute.
