The Mechanics’ Institute is celebrating 200 years at the centre of life in Bradford. Pupils, teachers, managers and Presidents of the Institute helped turn Bradford into the Wool Capital of the World. Explore displays on Floors 2 and 3 based on themes: Two Hundred Years of Educating Bradford and Looking after Bradford: Public Health and Public Safety.
