Visit the historic blacksmith’s forge beside Dobson Staircase Locks on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Watch traditional blacksmithing demonstrations, explore original canal features and ask the blacksmith about this fascinating heritage craft. Set within a Grade II listed canal workshop, you may even spot narrowboats making their way through the locks.
