Visit St John the Evangelist, Bierley to find out what led the Parish Priest to participate in a national movement that changed the life of mill workers in Bradford and beyond. Revd George Stringer Bull was the Minister of St John the Evangelist Church in Bierley from 1826 to 1839. During this time he became affectionately known as Parson Bull. Shocked at the terrible living and working conditions in this and his previous Parrish, he became an active reformer.
