As part of Bradford Heritage Open Day week, Bradford Local Studies is holding an exhibition of William Scruton work with a short talk about his life and pen & pencil drawing workshops.

William Scruton (1842–1924) was a prominent local historian, journalist, and artist who documented the architectural and social history of Bradford during the 19th century. Pen and Pencil Pictures of Old Bradford (1889): His most famous published work, which featured historical surveys, architectural sketches, and profiles of notable local freeholders, streets, and old buildings.

Exhibition of Images – 10:00-1:00pm & 2:00-6:30pm.

Talk & Workshops – 2:30-4:00pm & 4:30-6:00pm
